Through my creative practice, I am devoted to the messy magic of pleasure, vulnerability, and other wisdoms of the body.
Rooted in drawing and painting, my work often builds through fragments and layers to process interoceptive feedback. In this dialogue, I practice tuning to embodied energies and emotions.
I turn to abstraction as a language of intuition and immediacy.
Creativity is power and that power belongs to all of us.
Rooted in the belief that our personal and collective liberation are interconnected, personal permission to create radiates outward in ways that challenge assumptions, hierarchies, narratives, and systems that are threatened by the power of our collective creativity. Drawing from my queer lineage, I pose that threat as playfully as I do earnestly to imagine possibilities beyond the noise.
